Ministry Reveal Final Album, Farewell Tour In-The-Works

The industrial icons of Ministry are heading out on a farewell tour to coincide with their final forthcoming record.

“Done. Sayonara. Finito. However you want to say it, Ministry is coming to an end,” the band said in a press release. “But before bidding adieu, creator and music madman Al Jourgensen has a few final things to say about the state of the world, those in charge and how we should all collectively move forward.”

Ministry has a handful of shows this fall, including gigs at Chicago’s Salt Shed, Morrison’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, and performances at Louisville’s Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas. As previously announced, they’ll head overseas next spring for dates across Europe and the UK, wrapping-up in May.

A full U.S. tour will follow the European dates next year, though full touring details have not been announced.

Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), Ministry’s 17th studio album, is due October 30. Already, the group released the single “Burned Out,” which features frontman  Al Jourgensen alongside guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’ Amour, sampler/synth player John Bechdel, and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña. Paul Barker, original Ministry member, will return for the song “We’re Still Here.”
