Tokyo is getting a major new festival entry in 2026.

81 MUSIC FESTIVAL has announced the lineup for its debut edition, set for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Odaiba. The first-year event will bring together a cross-genre roster spanning pop, hip-hop, electronic, psytrance, city pop, and arena-ready dance music.

Leading the inaugural bill are The Kid LAROI, R3HAB, MRAK, John Martin, Vini Vici B2B MR.BLACK, Night Tempo, Alan Shirahama, 3LI¥EN, and MARVY. The event will also include a world premiere showcase from R3HAB and the Japan debut performance of MRAK, giving the festival two major firsts in its opening year.

The lineup signals a clear mission for 81 MUSIC FESTIVAL: connect Japan’s live music audience with the global festival circuit while blending mainstream appeal with electronic music culture. The Kid LAROI brings the pop and hip-hop crossover power, with massive singalong potential driven by hits like “STAY.” R3HAB adds big-room festival force, while MRAK is expected to deliver a more immersive, cinematic performance built around atmosphere, emotion, and visual storytelling.

The dance side of the bill goes even harder with Vini Vici B2B MR.BLACK, a pairing built for high-speed psytrance energy and peak-time crowd movement. John Martin, known for lending his voice to some of dance music’s biggest anthems, adds a live vocal dimension to the electronic lineup. Meanwhile, Night Tempo brings a retro-futurist contrast with his city pop-inspired sound, and Alan Shirahama continues his expansion as a DJ, producer, and performer with a crossover set designed for the arena stage.

The festival’s name, “81,” references Japan’s international dialing code, reinforcing the event’s concept of linking Japan with the wider world. Its theme, “From CODE to CORE — connecting Japan and the world through music,” points to a broader cultural experience beyond the performances themselves.

81 MUSIC FESTIVAL will run from 12:00 p.m.to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available in PLATINUM standing, GOLD standing, and GA seated tiers. GA tickets will also allow entry for guests under 18, subject to event conditions.

Tickets are on sale now through the festival’s official website.
