Noah Kahan Urges Fans to Use The Bathroom — Not Their Pants — at Shows

Noah Kahan has an important announcement for his fans: please use the restroom.

Kahan took to social media on Saturday after learning that a fan defecated during his concert at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on Friday night.

“If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao,” Kahan wrote on X. “I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29 year old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1000 yard stare after dealing with that.”

He added: “I shit myself onstage in Charlottesville but that’s because I’m dedicated to my craft.”

Kahan’s comment followed a video circulating on social media where a concertgoer panned over to a messy situation on the ground, shouting out, “What the f***?”

On Sunday, the announcement continued at Kahan’s show at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium. He made the crowd take the pledge: “I solemnly swear I will not shit my pants and if I do, I won’t take it from my pants and put it on the floor.”

The folk star is currently on “The Great Divide” tour, which is set to stop in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Denver, Phoenix, and San Diego. He’ll appear at venues along the way like San Francisco’s Oracle Park, Citi Field in Queens, and Truist Park in Atlanta, as well as a pair of gigs at Boston’s Fenway Park.
