The Minnesota Wild are moving their ticketing operation to SeatGeek in a multi-year deal that will put the platform in charge of ticketing for Wild home games and events across Grand Casino Arena beginning this summer.
Under the partnership, SeatGeek becomes the Official Primary Ticketing Partner of both the Wild and Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul. Tickets for Wild games and arena events will be available through SeatGeek starting July 1, 2026.
The deal gives the Wild a single ticketing system across their home games, concerts, entertainment events, and third-party programming at Grand Casino Arena. It also extends to other campus venues, including Roy Wilkins Auditorium and Saint Paul RiverCentre.
For fans, the switch means a more centralized ticket-buying and management experience. SeatGeek’s platform will allow users to browse seats, compare options using Deal Score, preview seat views, and buy, sell, or transfer tickets through mobile ticketing.
“Our fans deserve a world-class experience from the moment they decide to come to a game, and that starts with how they buy and manage their tickets,” Minnesota Wild CEO Matt Majka said in a press release. “SeatGeek gives us the tools to modernize our ticketing operation, deepen our connection with fans, and make every night at Grand Casino Arena a memorable one.”
The Wild will also gain access to SeatGeek IQ, the company’s AI-powered event intelligence engine. The system is designed to help teams and venues analyze demand, refine pricing, improve marketing, and personalize fan engagement across events.
“The excitement of attending a game or concert starts long before the puck drops or the lights go down,” said Grand Casino Arena General Manager Kelly McGrath. “This partnership with SeatGeek makes it easier than ever for fans to find tickets to their favorite events and enjoy a hassle-free experience from purchase to arrival.”
The two sides also plan to roll out a co-branded, passwordless sign-on experience that connects the Wild app, loyalty program, and SeatGeek ticketing platform under one unified identity. The goal is to reduce friction while giving the team a deeper view of how fans engage before, during, and after events.
“The Minnesota Wild are one of the great franchises in professional hockey, and Grand Casino Arena is a venue that hosts so much more than just hockey,” said SeatGeek Co-Founder and President Russ D’Souza. “This partnership is about connecting the entire fan journey — from how someone discovers a game to what they experience inside the arena.”
Existing tickets to upcoming Grand Casino Arena events will remain valid, with fans set to receive instructions before tickets are transferred into SeatGeek. The Wild said fans will be guided through account setup, with additional FAQs and support resources available at wild.com/seatgeek.
During the transition, tickets for select previously announced events, including Alex Warren, Monster Jam, Lionel Richie, and Josh Groban, will continue to be accessible through the Minnesota Wild app.
The Wild join SeatGeek’s expanding NHL roster, which also includes the Florida Panthers and Utah Mammoth. More broadly, SeatGeek continues to grow its primary ticketing footprint across sports and live entertainment, including teams and venues in the NFL, NBA, MLS, NWSL, USL, Premier League, and major golf and tennis events.
For the Wild, the shift marks more than a ticketing vendor change. It is a broader play for fan data, event discovery, and a smoother digital experience across one of Minnesota’s busiest live event campuses.
