Stephen Marley, Koffee, Iration to Headline Austin Reggae Festival 2026

The Austin Reggae Festival is entering a new chapter in 2026, unveiling a stacked lineup and announcing Reggae Rise Up as new co-owners of the long-running Central Texas event.

Set for April 17–19, 2026, the beloved reggae gathering will return to Auditorium Shores with headliners Stephen Marley, Original Koffee, and Iration, marking what organizers describe as a brighter, bolder era for the festival—one that blends expanded production and global reach with its deeply rooted mission of community and cultural celebration.

Now powered by the Reggae Rise Up family, the Austin Reggae Festival remains firmly anchored in reggae’s authentic spirit while tapping into a wider artist network and enhanced festival experience.

Headliners and Lineup Highlights

The 2026 bill is led by three standout acts representing multiple generations of reggae:

  • Stephen Marley, the multi-Grammy-winning artist and torchbearer of the Marley legacy, will deliver a roots-forward performance steeped in heritage and innovation.
  • Original Koffee, the Jamaican global breakout whose vibrant sound has helped redefine modern reggae, brings her uplifting and genre-blending style to Austin.
  • Iration, the California-bred reggae-rock favorites, round out the headliners with their melodic hooks and high-energy live shows.

They are joined by an expansive supporting lineup that spans roots reggae, modern reggae, hip-hop influences, and punk-infused sounds, including Protoje, Jesse Royal, Steel Pulse, Collie Buddz, Tribal Seeds, Hirie, Zion Marley, Mike Love, Eli Mac, Groundation, Irie Souljah, Cas Haley, Through The Roots, Rik Jam, Audic Empire, and more.

A Festival with Deep Roots—and a Growing Reach

Founded in 1994, the Austin Reggae Festival began as a tribute to Bob Marley and has grown into a three-day cultural staple while maintaining a strong philanthropic focus. For more than three decades, the event has raised vital support for the Central Texas Food Bank, a mission organizers say remains central as the festival evolves.

The 2026 edition will once again feature a single Main Stage, ensuring a no-overlap schedule so fans can experience every performance. Set along the scenic backdrop of Lady Bird Lake, the festival will combine world-class sound and production with Austin’s signature outdoor atmosphere.

Beyond the music, attendees can expect a wide selection of local and national food vendors, craft and artisan markets, beer and liquor bars, relaxation zones, family-friendly areas, and Jampack vacation packages offering curated downtown accommodations with festival access.

New Ownership, Same Spirit

Reggae Rise Up’s involvement marks its first expansion into Texas, adding Austin to a portfolio that already includes destination festivals in Florida, Arizona, Oregon, and Las Vegas.

“We’re honoured to carry that legacy forward, preserving what fans have always loved while introducing new talent, production elements, and experiences that align with Reggae Rise Up’s brand,” Vaughn Carrick, Founder and CEO of Reggae Rise Up, said in a press release.

Pat Costigan, Founder of Austin Reggae Festival and Leprechaun Productions, emphasized continuity alongside growth.

“It’s been an honour for us here at Leprechaun Productions to be able to present this great event and work with everyone involved over the years, especially our great friends at Central Texas Food Bank,” Costigan said.

With its downtown location, easy access via public transit and rideshare, and renewed creative energy, the Austin Reggae Festival aims to once again transform Auditorium Shores into the center of the reggae world for one April weekend.
