FIFA World Cup 2026 Hospitality Program Scores Record-Breaking Demand

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is just weeks away, and the tournament is already putting up championship-level numbers.

On Location, the Official Hospitality Provider for the FIFA World Cup 2026, announced that its official hospitality sales program has become the largest in World Cup history, with more than half a million packages allocated and revenue already surpassing every previous FIFA World Cup hospitality program.

The 2026 tournament, the first 48-team edition and hosted across Canada, Mexico and the United States, is shaping up to be a massive moment not only for soccer, but for premium live event hospitality.

According to On Location, sales for the FIFA World Cup 2026 hospitality program surpassed total hospitality revenue from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in June 2025, a full year before this summer’s tournament. As of March 31, 2026, the program had more than doubled the revenue generated by any previous World Cup hospitality offering.

The program has also already topped the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil in number of hospitality packages sold. Brazil 2014 had previously stood as the most-attended World Cup from a hospitality perspective.

Demand is coming from across the globe. Packages have been sold to fans in more than 125 countries and all 50 U.S. states, with the program currently in a peak sales period. On Location said sales continue to track ahead of expectations as anticipation builds for one of the biggest sporting events ever staged.

“Demand for FIFA World Cup 2026 is exceeding our most ambitious projections, with sales well ahead of pace,” Paul Caine, President of On Location, said in a press release. “The momentum we’re seeing – with strong sales expected to continue right through the tournament, as teams progress – reflects the global appetite for what will be the most successful hospitality program in World Cup history.”

Caine added that 2026 is set to be “the biggest year in sports hospitality,” pointing to On Location’s broader partnerships with FIFA, the NFL, LA28, UFC, WWE and the NCAA.

FIFA World Cup Chief Operating Officer Heimo Schirgi called the response to the hospitality program “extraordinary,” noting the record-breaking revenue and package demand.

“Together with our partner On Location, we are proud to see fans and corporate guests from around the world embracing what will be a truly unforgettable experience,” Schirgi said.

However, among the record-breaking numbers, it’s worth noting that FIFA was allocated 1 million packages — and only sold half of that. While they sold the highest number of packages in the organization’s history, the fact that only half of the packages sold points to a bigger problem: ticket prices. Already, the tournament has faced scrutiny over pricing, which supporter groups have described as a “monumental betrayal.”

Hospitality options for the 2026 tournament range from the FIFA Pavilion, which offers a lively outdoor setting, to the Pitchside Lounge, designed to bring guests closer to the action. On Location’s Platinum Access tier also gives fans the option to add local excursions and private transportation.

Official hospitality packages remain available through FIFA.com/Hospitality and authorized sales agents, though On Location noted that limited offerings remain.
