Live Nation, Dale Play Team Up to Boost Spanish-Language Music in Argentina

Live Nation is turning up the volume in Argentina.

Live Nation Entertainment and Dale Play have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at expanding live Spanish-language music in Argentina and helping more Latin and regional artists grow their audiences at home and abroad.

As part of the deal, Live Nation will acquire a majority stake in Dale Play Live, strengthening its footprint in one of South America’s most important music markets. Dale Play founder and CEO Federico Lauria will continue to lead the company’s creative and strategic direction, with a focus on developing Latin artists and Spanish-language content for global stages.

The partnership adds another major piece to Live Nation’s Argentina strategy. DF Entertainment, Live Nation’s long-running partner in the country, will remain a key player in bringing international live music events to Argentina, while Dale Play brings deep local expertise and strong ties to a new generation of Spanish-language artists and fans.

“Buenos Aires is the second largest music market in South America and a priority for Live Nation,” Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment, said in a press release. “The addition of Dale Play complements our existing partnership with DF Entertainment and strengthens our commitment to Argentina and the growth of Spanish-language music in the region and throughout the world.”

Lauria said the deal gives Dale Play a bigger platform to help artists break beyond borders.

“Dale Play was founded with the vision of supporting artists and building a platform that empowers them to grow locally and globally,” Lauria said. “Being partners with Live Nation represents a tremendous opportunity to continue expanding artists from Argentina and Latin America to the world.”

With Latin music continuing to surge internationally, the move positions Live Nation and Dale Play to play a bigger role in shaping the next wave of Spanish-language live entertainment — from Buenos Aires to the global touring circuit.
