Josh Groban Announces ‘Stage, Screen, and Symphony’ Tour

Josh Groban has announced a new U.S. tour that will feature Broadway and film music performed with full symphony orchestras.

The 13-date “Stage, Screen, and Symphony” tour is set to begin August 11 at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. The run will include stops in Charlotte, Grand Rapids, Saratoga Springs and Kansas City before ending September 3 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.

In a press release, Groban shared, “I’ve always been drawn to music that tells a story, whether it’s on the Broadway stage, in film, or through a great symphonic arrangement. This tour is a chance for me to bring all of those worlds together while sharing many of the songs that have inspired me throughout my career.”

The concerts will include Broadway selections as well as songs from Groban’s latest album, CINEMATIC. The album features Groban’s versions of songs connected to major films, including “Skyfall,” the theme from the James Bond film of the same name.

Tickets for the tour will be available through a presale beginning Tuesday, May 12, at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale will begin Friday, May 15, at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.

Additionally, before the “Stage, Screen, and Symphony” tour begins, he is scheduled to perform a two-week tour with Jennifer Hudson. That run includes stops in Boston, New York and Chicago, among other cities. Additionally, Groban has a residency planned for October at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
