Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex Lead Head Trip

Goldenvoice has unveiled Head Trip, a new two-night electronic music event set to take place October 10–11 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Billed as a one-time-only experience, the festival will feature a curated lineup of leading dance music artists performing on a single stage with no overlapping sets.

Passes for Head Trip go on sale Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. PT, with fans encouraged to register in advance for access at HeadTripIndio.com.

The event will showcase major electronic acts across two nights. Saturday’s lineup includes Calvin Harris, Fisher B2B Chris Lake (Under Construction), Peggy Gou B2B Four Tet, and Seth Troxler B2B Ben Sterling.

Sunday’s performances will feature Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla B2B Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey.

In addition to the main stage programming, the event will host the U.S. debut of the Sunflower Sound System, designed by producer and DJ Floating Points. The installation will operate throughout the weekend inside a dome tent acoustically treated with panels made from mycelium. The immersive listening environment will feature 10 custom speaker stacks arranged for an audiophile-focused sound experience, along with visual elements including tapestries and artwork commissioned by DJ and artist Josephine Chime. Floating Points and several guest DJs will perform within the installation throughout the event.

Production for Head Trip is being designed by Romain Pissenem, founder and director of the creative production company High Scream, known for large-scale stage and festival production.

Head Trip will operate with doors opening at 3 p.m. each day, and the event is open to attendees ages 18 and older. Free parking will be available starting at 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, while car camping and shuttle passeswill also be available for purchase.

Goldenvoice is also offering official hotel packages that bundle festival passes with local accommodations. Additional programming details, including potential before and after events, will be announced at a later date.
