One of the biggest names in rock ‘n’ roll belongs to Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, who are currently on tour supporting their latest record. But as some bargain-hunting fans are discovering, a big name on stage doesn’t always mean high prices to be in the audience.
As TicketNews recently reported, tickets to some of this summer’s hottest tours are reselling well below face value. Even Bruce Springsteen tickets have been available for a steal on the secondary market, even as his North American tour nears the end of its spring run.
On TicketNetwork, parent company of TicketNews, fans can find major steals on Springsteen tickets for some of his upcoming performances.
A limited number of tickets for the Boss’ May 2 performance at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, are listed on TicketNetwork for as little as $4 for upper-level seating and $5 for some lower level seating. On an even more limited basis, TicketNetwork lists general admission floor tickets for as little as $15 for a single available ducat or $17 each for a block of four tickets.
According to listings on Ticketmaster, face values for similar tickets range from $29 to $95, the highest pricing tier for that show. TicketNetwork’s bargain prices even beat out other secondary sites such as StubHub, where ticket prices currently start around $16 for upper-level seating and $21 for lower-level seating to the Saturday show in North Carolina.
TicketNetwork also has deals on tickets to Springsteen’s larger metropolitan shows. Listings for the Boss’ upcoming May 12 concert at United Center in Chicago, IL, have a limited number of upper-level seats available for $34 to $44 in contrast to the original face value range of $65 to $95.
